How to use this QR generator

An Instagram QR code connects printed material to a profile, post or reel at the URL you enter. Paste the complete HTTPS link into Social profile. Make QR encodes the address directly in your browser; it does not fetch profile photos, verify usernames or access your Instagram account.

  1. Copy the profile, post or reel link from Instagram. For a profile, check that its address includes the intended username.
  2. Paste the full link into Social profile and open it to verify the destination. Add your own logo or image in Design if you want one.
  3. Download and scan the code on a phone. Confirm that the intended visitor can view the destination before printing your social-profile card.

A profile QR is a link, not account access

This tool creates an ordinary URL QR code. It does not log into Instagram, retrieve a profile picture, reveal private posts or guarantee follower growth. Instagram and the scanning device decide whether the link opens in an app or browser and whether sign-in is needed. A private profile's access restrictions remain in place.

Check usernames and deleted posts

A printed static code keeps the original address. If you rename an account, delete a post or change its visibility, test that address again. Create a replacement code when the destination changes. Keep a visible account name beside the code so visitors have another way to find you. For other platforms, use the Social field with that platform's public link.

Frequently asked questions

Can I enter only my Instagram handle?

Use the complete profile URL, such as https://www.instagram.com/yourusername/. The current Social field accepts a web address rather than looking up a handle.

Can the code open a private account's posts?

It opens the supplied link. It cannot bypass Instagram's sign-in, privacy or follower requirements.

Is Make QR affiliated with Instagram?

No. Make QR is independent. You do not need to connect an Instagram account to generate the code.
