How to use this QR generator

Convert a link to a QR code by entering its website address. Scanning the code lets a person open that address in their browser. Use this URL-to-QR tool to connect printed material to a menu, registration page, product guide or any other page you control.

  1. Paste the complete web address, including https://. Open the link yourself to check that it is the page you want visitors to reach.
  2. Customize the code while keeping strong contrast and the white border. Add a short instruction such as 'Scan for the menu' in a printable template.
  3. Download PNG for a fixed image, SVG for scalable artwork or PDF for a print layout. Scan the final file before publishing it.

The destination must stay available

Make QR writes your URL directly into the code and does not add a redirect service. The image has no expiry timer, but it cannot fix a deleted page, an expired domain or a sign-in restriction at the destination. Use a stable address you control and keep that page available for as long as the printed material is in use.

A short address can simplify the code

Long URLs, including unnecessary tracking parameters, create more QR modules. A shorter stable URL can make small prints easier to scan. If your own website can keep one landing-page URL and update its content, visitors can see new information at that same address without replacing the printed code. Changing the encoded address itself requires a new QR code.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a dynamic QR code?

No. The URL is encoded directly. Make QR does not provide an editable redirect or scan tracking. You can still update the content at a web address you control.

Do people need internet access?

Reading the web address can happen locally, but opening its website normally requires internet access.
