How to use this QR generator

A WhatsApp chat QR code opens a click-to-chat link for the number you specify. This generator builds a wa.me link in your browser, with an optional prefilled message, then encodes that link. It does not connect to your account, send messages or create a WhatsApp Web login code.

  1. Enter a phone number registered with WhatsApp, including its international country code. Do not use a local-only number or begin with a trunk zero.
  2. Optionally enter a short message for visitors to review. The generated chat link is visible so you can check the number before exporting.
  3. Customize the code, download it and scan the final image on a phone. Confirm the correct chat opens before placing it on your business card or sign.

A customer chat link is different from account login

This tool creates a link to start a chat. It does not produce the temporary code used to sign into WhatsApp Web or link a device, and it never asks for an account password or verification code. The number must already have an active WhatsApp account. The scanning device and WhatsApp control the chat-opening experience.

Use your international number deliberately

The link includes the phone number and any prefilled text, so anyone with the code can read them. Use the business or contact number you intend to share. A message is filled into the visitor's composer; it is not sent automatically. Changes to the number or message require exporting a new static QR image. If your WhatsApp account becomes unavailable, the printed code cannot restore it.

Does this work with WhatsApp Business?

The code uses WhatsApp's click-to-chat link format for the specified registered number. Test the exported code with your actual account and device; this application does not verify the account or access business tools.

Do I have to connect or sign into WhatsApp here?

No. We create a link from the number you enter. We do not access your inbox, send messages or handle WhatsApp login.

Is Make QR an official WhatsApp service?
