How to use this contact generator
Create a contact QR code or digital business card with your details encoded directly as a vCard. A compatible QR reader can open those details in a contact preview so the person scanning can choose to save them. Place the code on a business card, employee badge or event handout.
- Enter your name and the phone number, email, company and website you want people to save. Include a country code in international phone numbers.
- Keep the contact card concise. Add your logo in Design, or open the business-card template to add visible wording around the code.
- Download and scan the finished artwork. Check the imported contact fields, then print at a readable size.
Direct contact data or a profile link?
A direct vCard can be read without loading a profile website, although calling or emailing still uses the person's device services. If you need an editable profile with a photo and changing links, encode your own hosted profile URL instead. Make QR creates static codes and does not host a contact-profile service.
Keep printed contact cards readable
Every additional field makes the QR payload denser. Include useful details and remove fields your recipient does not need. Leave the white space around the code intact and test the final card size, including any logo. When your phone number or job changes, create a new code; an existing printed vCard does not update itself.

Frequently asked questions
Does scanning save a contact without asking?
The phone's QR reader and contacts app control the workflow. Many devices show a preview and ask the person to save the contact. Test on your intended devices.
Can I update a printed vCard QR code?
No. Its contact details are encoded directly. Edit your draft and export a new QR code, or use a link to an editable profile page for future cards.
Are the details public?
Anyone who can scan the code can read its contact details. Only include information you want the recipient to have.
